Research Interests

     My research interests focus on improving the performance of wireless networks by using game theory and machine learning methods. Specific interests on cognitive radio networks, social wireless networks, Internet of things, and mobile content delivery networks. My publications

Jun. 2012-Sep. 2012, Summer Internship, NTT Docomo Lab in Beijing, Beijing Worked as the leader of project “Network Coding Based Retransmission Schemes for Mobile Broadcast Services in Converged Networks”. My work involved the proposing and testing of a heuristic network coding method for reliable and efficient retransmission in broadcast & cellular converged networks.

Projects

May 2013 -- Sep. 2014, Simulator of Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks, Project Leader This project is to build a simulator for both traffic and communication environments of vehicular ad hoc networks, based on real city maps and 802.11p protocol. My work involved the system design and module separation.
 
Jun. 2012 -- Sep. 2012, Network Coding Based Retransmission Schemes for Mobile Broadcast Services in Converged Networks, Project Leader This project is to study the retransmission schemes for broadcast & cellular converged networks. My work involved the proposing and testing of a reliable and efficient retransmission scheme based on heuristic network coding methods.
 
Sep. 2010 – Sep. 2012, Hybrid Multiple Access, Key Member This project is to build and test a novel MAC layer scheme that combines both OFDMA and CDMA, referred to as hybrid multiple access (HMA). My work involved the design of system parameters, the coding of several core signal processing modules, and the test of the final prototype.

Teaching

  • Teaching Assistant. Worked as the teaching assistant for class “Emerging Technologies in Wireless Communication” for junior undergraduates. My work involved guiding and supervising their exercises, coding practices, class presentations, and final class reports.
